What makes the Rally so special?

The exceptional cars are generously loaned by their owners for you to enjoy and profits from the day fuel the transformational work of WeSeeHope, a charity creating sustainable change for vulnerable children across East Africa!

  • Thank you so much to you and the team for including myself, Emma and my parents in the 2023 Rally. It was a day we’ll never forget! Such a wonderful group of people, in a wonderful place, for a wonderful cause. Congratulations on an event superbly delivered.

A race-inspired 1955 Mercedes 300 SL ‘Gullwing’, thought to be the fastest production car of its era.

A jaw-droppingly beautiful 1962 Ferrari 250 SWB that is one of the very few right-hand examples built.

A recently restored 1967 Lamborghini Miura, a pristine example of the two-seater mid-engined sports car featured in the opening scenes of The Italian Job and one of only 275 of its type.

THE VENUES

the home of THIS YEAR’S RALLY WILL BE THE ELVETHAM, AN AWARD-WINNING COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL IN HOOK, HAMPSHIRE.

Located in 39 acres of stunning countryside, it offers luxurious accommodation and fine dining experiences that are truly unmissable.

The Elvetham is suffused with English history. It is the site where Eadric the While plotted against William the Conqueror in the 11th Century, where King John gathered his nobles in readiness for war with France in 1205, and where King Henry VIII fell in love with Jane Seymour, just to name a few… and now it’s the historic venue for the 2024 Hope Classic Rally!

Recently redesigned, we are are thrilled to be hosting our pit stop lunch at The White Horse in Graffham, an idyllic restaurant in the peaceful setting of the South Downs National Park that opened in the summer of 2023.

You will enjoy some of the region’s finest flavours prepared by Chef de Cuisine Grant Jones, whose seasonal menus are underpinned by classic French techniques, learned during his years at La Gavroche.

THE DIFFERENCE

BY JOINING THE HOPE CLASSIC RALLY YOU WILL BE DOING SO MUCH MORE THAN ATTENDING AN EVENT; YOU WILL BE CHANGING LIVES.

Since our first event in 2015, we are incredibly proud to have raised £1.9m for WeSeeHope, a charity working with vulnerable children and young people in Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda. 2023 was our most successful year yet, with over £420,000 generated!

They may be small, but WeSeeHope’s impact is broad and far-reaching. Focusing in predominantly rural and isolated areas, they work in partnership with local NGOs to deliver programmes that:

ENHANCe SKILLS & OPPORTUNITY

WeSeeHope teaches children, their families and wider communities life, leadership, vocational and entrepreneurial skills, helping them to open up opportunities for their own futures.

create COMMUNITY-LED solutions

Community volunteers and leaders are always key stakeholders of WeSeeHope’s programmes, involved in management from day one and given the training to be able to run all activities independently over four years.

develop SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOODS

WeSeeHope establishes savings and loans groups for parents and guardians and provides training in community banking, business and financial skills. Pooling their money together, members are able to take out loans to build their own businesses, and develop a sustainable income for their families.

THE TEAM

We are led by a dedicated board of directors who have a shared love of classic cars and commitment to WeSeeHope.

They work together with a talented organising team and group of Ambassadors who donate their time and energy to ensure every guest has a truly memorable time.
